The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the world's largest traveling oddities event showcasing hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses with all things weird. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more. We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Outside of our curated vendors, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout the day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo. The O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people. Class Description:
Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class hosted by The Sleeping Sirens! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. 
What to Expect:
Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. 
We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon or rabbit hide depending on the workshop you are taking. 
The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. 
After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards base preparation and mounting your project. 
The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.

This hands-on experience is perfect for nature enthusiasts, aspiring entomologists, or anyone interested in the intricate craft of insect preservation. Join us as we guide you through the techniques of preparing and pinning insects, transforming them into beautiful, display-ready specimens.
What to Expect:
This workshop has both AM and PM availability, so it is of the utmost importance that you verify the correct date and time of your specific class. 
The AM class will begin promptly at 10am while the PM class will begin promptly at 1:30pm.
You will learn the foundational skills of bug pinning, including safe collection methods, proper handling, and the step-by-step process of pinning and mounting insects.
We will familiarize ourselves with the tools of the trade, pinning supplies, insect boxes, and preservation techniques. We’ll provide all necessary materials for your workshop experience.
Explore creative ways to arrange and display your pinned insects, turning your specimens into captivating works of art that reflect your personal style.

Aleksi Campagne is uniquely qualified to offer a contemporary, indie-folk take on the time-honoured fiddle-singing tradition. When playing live, Aleksi floors audiences by singing while bowing his violin and leading his four-piece band. His original music blends folk song writing with an edgy, multi-layered sound resulting from his unique combination of voice, violin and looping-effect pedals. In a full-page spread in the Montreal Gazette, Brennan Kelly described him as “not just a folksinger with a guitar!”.
Opener: Sheila Carabine, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and one half of the Juno-nominated folk duo Dala. Known for her velvety rich voice and honest songwriting, she has released acclaimed work both with Dala and as a solo artist. Her music blends heartfelt lyrics with folk and roots influences.

Reina by Augusto Bitter: Sharing a meal is an intimate and immediate gesture of love. Reina imagines the many lives of the anonymous woman depicted on a bag of Harina P.A.N. corn flour. It invokes and celebrates personal femininity through a collection of memories, stories, recipes, and physical scores in conversation with live music by musician Y Josephine.
Never Walk Alone by Julie Phan: Never Walk Alone is a solo piece combining Julie Phan’s passions for writing and pole dancing. Exploring family dynamics, independence, legacy, isolation, burnout, and economics, the piece follows Honey and her trajectory from formerly-promising-child to bitter disappointment. This is an endurance pole dance piece that explores the relationship between physically holding oneself up on the pole and the necessity of holding truths and lies from our loved ones.

Options include burgers, halal chicken dinners, jerk chicken, veggie burgers, and samosas. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for sale at the bar.
What is the difference in ticket prices? Ticket prices vary based on when you purchase. The earlier you buy, the more you save. All tickets provide the same access.
Is there a dress code and is it mandatory? An all-white dress code is recommended but not mandatory.
Is the boat heated? Yes, the lower level of the boat is heated, while the upper deck is open-air for those who enjoy fresh air and scenic views.
